Hair Restoration- Scalp PRP therapy for hair loss is a treatment that involves withdrawing a patient’s own blood, processing it so that only the enriched cells (platelet-rich plasma) remain, and injecting it into the scalp. Who Can Benefit 
Studies have shown that the best candidates for scalp PRP therapy are those whose hair loss is recent since it can be difficult to revive long-dormant hair follicles. Ideally, a patient’s scalp will feature areas of so-called “weak-quality” hair growth where functioning hair follicles remain. 

What to Expect During Your Treatment 

• A nurse will draw a small vial of blood, usually from the patient's arm.
• The blood will be spun in a centrifuge to separate red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma.
• The provider injects the plasma into areas on the scalp affected by hair loss. You can expect around 15-20 injections per PRP session.
